Skyline Dip

The holiday season is when we love to eat yummy food.  Well, some of us love to eat it all the time!  When our girls are here for the evening they love to make Skyline dip so I keep the ingredients on hand at all times.  Last night they made a dish of it and even though I was headed for bed, I couldn’t resist a chip or two dipped into this wonderful concoction.

Here’s the recipe:

In an oven proof pie plate spread one 8 ounce package of cream cheese.

Pour a 15 ounce can of Skyline chili on top.

Top with about 4 ounces of shredded Cheddar cheese (or more!)

Put into a 350 degree oven until the cheese is melted. (Can use the microwave, but somehow, an oven makes it better.)

If you can, wait until it cools just a bit before dipping in with chips!
